Service Description
Learn to share in a way that is effective and powerful. In this course, participants will: -Develop ways to incorporate creativity to improve audience engagement -Explore using creative sources to frame your message -Discover how to identify the target audience (group vs. 1:1) -Review strategies for time management of storytelling based on setting and audience -Identify boundaries involving questions and self-disclosure -Examine strategies of cultural awareness in the application of your story -Practice maintaining advocacy messages through a story -Explore the use of media and other mediums to illustrate and share your recovery story Upon completion of this program, Participants will be able to: Identify at least 2 creative sources to frame their message, identify at least 1 variation of their recovery storytelling to use in individual self-disclosure, and identify ‘What the story is Not. ‘ Identify at least 3 boundaries involving questions and self-disclosure. Identify 2 strategies of cultural awareness in the application of your story; demonstrate the ability to identify the appropriate time, setting, and audience to share a personal story/self-disclosure through a share of the (1 Story) workshop product in its entirety.
