SMART Recovery Weekly Group
Weekly at 6 pm on Tuesdays
Service Description
SMART Recovery is a science-based, self-help program that supports people in overcoming addictive behaviors, including substance use and behavioral addictions. It stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training and emphasizes empowerment through evidence-based tools and peer support. The program is built around a 4-Point Program: building motivation, coping with urges, managing thoughts and behaviors, and living a balanced life. SMART encourages self-reliance and does not use labels like "addict" or "alcoholic," focusing instead on self-directed change. Meetings are collaborative, confidential, and structured around learning and applying practical strategies for recovery.
